I have embarked on a new exercise regime. Now that I have written it here, I have to stick with it, right?

Update-y

Posted by Dixie on Jan 19 2005 | Animals, Movies, Random/ Life

Honestly, I feel like there is nothing exciting to report. A three day weekend makes one really sleepy, as does staring at a computer for the entire day trying to make a movie clip work correctly.

Some snippets:
Wembley the cat was taken in for a urinalysis on Monday. When we went to pick him up, everyone at the vet told us he was really unhappy. Then the vet told us how well behaved Basil was for his shots and bloodwork. Clint said, “In comparison [to Wembley]?” The vet admitted yes, kind of. He’s a rebel, that Wembley, all growling and hissing at the vet’s office. So just like his kidney enzymes showed, his urinalysis shows that he is just slightly out of the normal range but not in the kidney failure range either. So we will return in 3 months for bloodwork and another urinalysis. The good news is that even though Wembley and Basil went to the vet and Wembley stayed there all day, Chim Chim acted perfectly normal to them when they came home. No weird growling or hissing, thank goodness.

Clint rented Take Care of My Cat for me. I have been wanting to see this movie for like two years or something, since I first heard about it. Well, we watched it last night and it wasn’t worth the long wait. I mean, it was OK, but I think I had hyped it up in my (and Clint’s) head for too long and expected a grande masterpiece.

That is all.
