this actually brings up an interesting concept: “Non-Smoking Event”. When the smoking ban was passed by city council, I was really excited. As a non-smoker, I dreamt of going to clubs and not hacking up a lung the next day due to second hand smoke. However, I understand both sides of the issue. The other side’s argument can be viewed here.

anyway, the ban is not yet enforced. I won’t go into all that city council stuff. but I am quite curious about this show since it is billed as a non-smoking event. how will it turn out? hmmmm…

walking across a parking lot carrying a large awkward box full of 25 or so empty archival boxes. dropping the large box three times. spilling boxes (amazingly, none were dented). trying to load the large box into my backseat. not fitting. pushing my seats down and maneuvering the box into the trunk. driving into a parking garage. trying to pull the large box out and put it into a small shopping cart to help with carrying the load up to the 22nd floor. not working. friendly garage man brings me a dolly.

I am a klutz, but I like to keep this bit to myself (and clint who makes fun of me and laughs at my pain). there was no hiding my klutz-iness today. in the parking lot on campus for all to see, particularly the guy talking on his cell phone in his truck ten feet away from the last two spills.

I think the air conditioner in my car is going out and this is quite unfortunate because it averages 100 degrees daily this time of year. I am unsure because at times the blowing air feels slightly cool, but in my heart I know the truth. My car has had so many troubles this past year and it does not even have 70,000 miles on it.

Hey, I have a question… why doesn’t Volkswagen create a hybrid car? I would really like a hybrid. Barring the hybrid option, I believe that my next car will be a diesel Golf.

I cannot believe I am talking cars…

so… I have a really hard time getting up in the morning. I rarely make it to work before 9am. Perfect timing for daily candy, who advised me that this nifty alarm exists. oh yeah, I’m poor. drat!
